** Half day tour of Auckland City including the summit of Mt Eden for a panoramic view over the city, University, Albert Park, domain and Rose Gardens. A stop is made at the Auckland museum with a $5 donation requested and payable to the museum.
** Harbour cruise including morning or afternoon tea. See Auckland's skyline, harbour bridge, and beautiful harbour including some of the Hauraki Gulf Islands.

(1) BUSH AND BEACH ECO TOUR - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Explore our beautiful rugged West Coast beaches and take a guided walk in the Waitakere Ranges rainforest with a knowledgeable guide.
FULL DAY: 10am - 5pm. $195. Departs Daily
Includes Arataki Waitakere Ranges visitor centre, guided walk in the rainforest, a cascading waterfall (optional swim), a stroll on the black sands of the rugged windswept wilderness West Coast beach, and a visit to 1000 year old kauri trees. Picnic lunch also included.

(2) BAY OF ISLANDS day tour

(4) COROMANDEL PENINSULA
8am - 6.00pm. $280. Departs Tuesdays and Saturdays (Minimum 2 people)
Drive south over the Bombay Hills and across the Hauraki Plains to the old gold mining city of Thames. Visit a bird hide on the coast and enjoy a guided introduction to gold mining in its heyday at the end of the 19th Century including a working Stamper Battery and go underground in an old gold mine. Continue along the Pohutukawa Coast to the town of Coromandel for a lunch break (own expense) before enjoying the unique Driving Creek Railway built by local potter and rail enthusiast, Barry Brickell. Ride the train through regenerating native forest up the hills for a panoramic view over the Peninsula and Hauraki Gulf. After returning to base and visiting the pottery we drive across the Peninsula to the charming seaside resort of Whitianga for a short visit and on to Hotwater Beach where for 2 hours either side of low tide you can dig your own thermal bath in the sand! (An optional exciting fast cruise is available to beautiful Cathedral Cove - extra expense and subject to weather on the day). We travel on to Tairua and return to Auckland.
CHRISTCHURCH SUPERDEAL
7 nights accommodation at 4 star "THE OAKS RESIDENCES" in the heart of Christchurch, 2 minutes walk to Cashel Mall, Avon River, Christchurch Tram, and Cathedral Square, 10 minutes walk to the Arts Centre, excellent Christchurch Museum, and Botanical Gardens.

Pickup at 9am and drive to Akaroa via the Sign of the Takahe, Sign of the Kiwi, Governors bay, Gebbies Pass, Lake Ellesmere, Lake Forsyth, and Little River. Enjoy the spectacular views of Akaroa Harbour at Hill Top and visit a local cheese factory to sample the delights and a little wine. Lunch is included at a popular restaurant on the waterfront in the heart of Akaroa and this afternoon enjoy a 2 hour cruise on Akaroa Harbour. Usually dolphins, penguins, and seals can be seen. Return to Christchurch with a stop at Birdlings Flat for a short fossic on the seashore and return to Christchurch about 6pm.

Christchurch Sightseeing Options
A wide range of optional tours are available from Christchurch.All tours pickup and return to your accommodation. The most popular are:
(1) KAIKOURA WHALE WATCH CRUISE OR FLIGHT
Pickup around 7.45am and travel through North Canterbury to the charming seaside resort of Kaikoura, home of whale watching, swimming with the dolphins, etc. On arrival in Kaikoura join a 3 hour whale watch cruise or 30 minute whale watch flight (your choice of cruise or flight). usually view the giant sperm whale, dolphins, seals, and the Royal Albatross. We recommned that you try the fresh local seafood for lunch (not included) This afternoon visit the local seal colony and enjoy a little wine tasting during your return to Christchurch. Arrive back at your accommodation about 6.30pm.

(2) MOUNT COOK
Pickup around 8am. Drive across the Canterbury Plains and over Burkes Pass to Lake Tekapo. Visit the sheep dog monument and Church of the Good Shepherd then along the shores of Lake Pukaki to Mt Cook, New Zealand's highest mountain. Enjoy your included lunch at the magnificent Hermitage Hotel and you have a few hours free time for an alpine walk, or optional ski plane flight to land on the snows of the glacier - extra expense and subject to weather. Drive into the Tasman Glacier area for a 20 minute climb to view the Glacier and Lake Tasman and return to Christchurch about 9pm.

(3) ALPINE SAFARI INCLUDING 4WD AND "TRANZ ALPINE" TRAIN
Pickup around 7.45am and drive across the Canterbury Plains to the Waimakariri River Canyon in the foothills of the rugged Southern Alps. Join your jet boat for an exciting 40 minute ride ride upstream past 100 metre high train viaducts, waterfalls, and thick beech forest.
Join your 4WD Unimog at Kowhai Bush and travel acrosss Torlesse High Country sheep station amid spectacular scenery. Lunch in Springfield and drive to Arthurs Pass township in Arthurs Pass National Park. Join the "Tranz Alpine" train for the return journey to Christchurch arriving back at your accommodation about 6.30pm.

(4) HANMER SPRINGS
Pickup around 8.45am and drive across the Canterbury Plains to a working sheep farm for a demonstration of sheep dog handling and shearing. Visit Thrillseekers Canyon and you have a choice of either a thrilling jet boat ride or whitewater rafting (included). An optional (extra expense) bungy jump is available. Lunch is included at the Garden House Cafe as is admission to the hot thermal pools to relax (Be sure to take your swim suit). Time to explore the Hanmer Village before returning to your accommodation with a little wine tasting en route. Arrive back at your accommodation about 6pm.

QUEENSTOWN SUPERDEAL

** Full day tour to Milford Sound by coach. Pickup around 7.15am and drive along the shores of Lake Wakatipu and on to Lake Te Anau for a coffee break (own expense). Drive along the shores of the Lake and through the Eglinton and Hollyford Valleys with visits to the Mirror Lakes and "Roaring Chasm' before descending to spectacular Milford Sound. Enjoy a 1.5 hour cruise down Milford Sound under mah]jestic Mitre Peak to the Tasman Sea and seal colony before returning with spectacular views of the sheer rock faces and Bowen Waterfall. Drive back to Queenstown arriving about 8pm. A buffet lunch is included during your cruise.
