World of WearableArt Awards Show plus Wellington and Wairarapa.

Day 1. Monday October 11. AUCKLAND - WELLINGTON (D)
You will be picked up from home Orewa to Pukekohe and transferred to the railway station. Depart Auckland 7.45am, Papakura at 8.40am, and Hamilton at 10.15am. Sit back and relax and enjoy the scenery as we travel through the central North Island including the Raurimu Spiral and fabulous views of the central North Island mountains in fine weather. Arrival in Wellington is scheduled for 6.25pm and we will be met and transferred to our hotel in the central city.
Day 2. Tuesday. October 12. WELLINGTON (B)
Our full day tour includes a guided tour of Parliament, Cable Car, Botanical Gardens, Weta Workshop, part of the beautiful Marine Drive, Lyall Bay, Mt Victoria, and time at Te Papa museum of New Zealand.
Day 3. Wednesday. October 13. WAIRARAPA (BL)
We drive through the Hutt valley and over the Rimutakas and into the Wairarapa. Visit Featherston for a coffee break, and the fishing village of Ngawi with stunning views of the rugged Palliser Bay coastline. Visit the largest fur seal colony in the North Island. Continue to the base of Cape Palliser to see the lighthouse and you are welcome to climb the 225 steps to it if you wish! Continue to Lake Ferry Hotel for an included Fish and Chips lunch (vegetarian options if pre-ordered). Last stop is at a Martinborough winery with tasting included. Return to Wellington late afternoon.
Day 4. Thursday. October 14. WELLINGTON - WORLD OF WEARABLEART AWARDS SHOW (BD)
The day is free to explore at your leisure before we enjoy dinner on Queens wharf and the fabulous World of WearableArts Awards Show with premium seats included.
Day 5. Friday. October 15. WELLINGTON - AUCKLAND (B)
We transfer to the airport for our Air New Zealand flight departing 10.45am for Auckland arriving 11.50am. You will be transferred home.
You are welcome to stay longer in Wellington if you wish. We will deduct $110 from your tour cost and you can make your own arrangements for transfers and travel from Wellington..
