Sunday August 31.   AUCKLAND - BALI. (D)

11am. Depart Auckland aboard our Air New Zealand B777 flight to Denpasar, Bali. Flight time is scheduled for 9 hours 20 minutes and arrival is scheduled for 4.20pm. We will be met and transferred to the Hyatt Regency Resort at Sanur . Dinner at the hotel tonight.

Monday  September 01. BALI. (B)

Our full day Central Highlands tour takes us to the sacred monkey forest of Ubud before driving up to Kintamani for lunch 6,000 ft above sea level with spectacular views of Batur volcano and its crater lake. We take the roads less travelled to Tegalalang for a leisurely walk on the ridge of Campuhan valley before returning to the hotel

Wednesday  September 03.    BALI.  (BL)

We drive to Rumah Dusa to discover the secrets of Balinese cuisine. Visit a traditional market to explore all kinds of spices and ingredients and learn about the social life of Indonesians. After a cooking class and delicious lunch explore the beautiful countryside including breathtaking views of expansive rice fields and an insight into rice farming with "Subak" a local farmers organisation, declared a UNESCO World Heritage for its outstanding values to humanity.

The morning is free. Check out time is 10am but bags can be left at the hotel until departure

5.50pm. Depart Bali aboard our Air New Zealand B777 flight. Flight time scheduled for 7 hours 40 minutes.

You are welcome to stay over in Bali as long as you like

Saturday September 06. AUCKLAND ARRIVE

Arrival at Auckland is scheduled for 5.30am.
